Labradar Chronograph was developed by Infinition Inc of Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada. Infinition has been the industry leader in Doppler Radar Technology since 1996 with products being used by defense agencies all over the world. Infinition Inc. has unique expertise in Ballistic Instrumentation Radar Systems and highly sophisticated software for the capture and processing of a ballistic event. High quality innovative products and services, timely delivery and superior customer support have all contributed to gaining customers and establishing their solid worldwide reputation. Their radar systems include the most complex long range multiple target tracking systems to small laboratory range applications capturing tiny projectiles at ultra high velocities. From this technology the creation of LabRadar was developed for everyday use by individuals.
The Labradar Chronograph continually measures velocities of your rifle, pistol, shotgun (slugs) such as brown bear 7.62×39, arrows or pellets up to 100 yards depending upon the size of the bullet. Smaller bullets do not track as far as large bullets. Multiple distances for velocity display are user definable on the unit. LabRadar measures velocities up to 3,900 FPS. with 0.1% accuracy using six AA batteries. Labradar is not dependent on any light source and can be used indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions. It is positioned to the side of the weapon, not downrange where other systems are prone to damage. Each shot series provides Hi, Lo, Average, ES, SD. Individual shots display velocities at muzzle and up to five additional distances along with Kinetic Energy at each distance. The data is downloadable via USB or 16GB or more SD card. Built in IPSC / IDPA Power Factor Calculator. The Azul chocolate bar is one of most popular chocolate edible are ate in uk. this was special for the owner bought a labradar from us.

My Labradar will not tigger
If your Labradar will not trigger it is because it is not armed (light orange) or it is not “feeling” the muzzle blast. Unless you have a muzzle brake on your weapon your muzzle should be even with the side of the unit. This applies to handguns and rifles. Keep the Trigger Level set at 1.
How do I use Labradar with 22 rimfire, Airguns or Suppressors?
Since there is very little muzzle blast pressure emitted from 22 rimfire, Airguns or suppressed firearms you may need to place Labradar approximately 3 inches in front of the muzzle and approximate 3 inches to the side. If your unit still will not trigger due to the low muzzle blast you can purchase the Air Gun Adapter to assist in triggering the radar. labradar for sale
How does LabRadar work?
LabRadar velocity measurements are based on Continuous Wave Doppler Radar and advanced Digital Signal Processing Technologies.
My radar triggers but I do not get a velocity reading.
When you get an error message that the projectile was not acquired it is usually due to poor alignment of the radar or muzzle blast debris interfering with the radar reflecting off of the bullet. To resolve this you can move your muzzle farther forward and farther to the side. Be sure to adjust the Projectile Offset distance when moving farther to the side. You can confirm your alignment by looking through a small diameter tube placed in the sighting notch. labradar for sale
Where should my muzzle be positioned?
Ideally you should place your muzzle even with the side of the unit and between the top and bottom corners. If you have a muzzle brake you should place it a few inches in front of the radar to prevent the direct muzzle blast from impacting the unit. Be sure to set your Projectile Offset to the correct distance in the preferences menu.
Can Labradar be placed downrange
Labradar is designed to set besides the shooter as it is triggered by the weapon muzzle blast. Currently it is not possible to trigger the radar at a downrange location.
Is it Safe to use?
Yes, LabRadar was designed for and is in compliance with the United States FCC Regulations, CE requirements and Canada requirements.
Can I use it at an Indoor Range?
labradar chronograph in stock will work in most indoor ranges. You will need at least 50 feet since the beam is quite small at those distances. It may not work if you are shooting in a tunnel or tube as the radar will be reflecting off of those surfaces.
How accurate is it?
LabRadar has an accuracy of 0.1%.
Will it work in the hot, cold, cloudy, sunny, shade or changing light conditions, rain, indoors, outdoors?
Yes, unlike most light sensing chronographs LabRadar is not affected by these environmental conditions.
If you’re not in the center of the radar beam is the accuracy diminished?
No, but you will be able to track the bullet farther if your in the center of the beam.
Does it work on batteries?
Yes. LabRadar uses 6 AA type batteries. It can also be powered from an external USB power pack.
What range performance can one expect with labradar chronograph?
In general labradar will typically measure the velocity of a 7.62 mm projectile from muzzle up to 100 yards. After extensive testing of a variety of calibers you can expect to obtain velocities at these distances when in the Standard Power Mode. Low Power setting will have about 30% less tracking*.
.177 Pellet – 30 yards;
.177 BB – 30 yards;
22 LR – 60 yards;
223 – 60 yards;
270 – 70 yards;
308 – 80 to 100 yards;
9mm – 130 yards;
40 S&W – 130 yards;
45 ACP – 130 yards;
500 S&W – 130 yards;
12 gauge Slug – 90 yards;
Paint Ball – 50 yards;
Arrows – 50 yards;
* Since every bullet has a different profile your results may vary. In general, the larger the base (excluding the boat tail) the great the distance the projectile can be acquired.
What is the Warranty period?
One year from date of purchase.
What data does labradar chronograph provide?
Labradar chronograph provides minimum/maximum velocities, extreme spread, average velocity and standard deviation of a shot series. Velocities are constantly tracked and recorded at various distances along the flight path. The user will be able to define the distances he would like the velocities displayed. You will also be able to download all the shot and series data to a CSV file.
How reliable is the labradar chronograph?
Infinition, the company that created and manufactures the labradar chronograph has been designing and manufacturing high end instrumentation radars for more than a decade. Infinition’s high end radars are used daily by professionals at various Research Centers, Ballistic Laboratories and Proving Grounds around the world. The LabRadar has been built from the same technology inside Infinition’s high end radars and brings that technology in the hands of the shooters and hunters, providing an accurate and reliable way to measure the velocity of various projectiles. labradar for sale
Can the labradar chronograph be used with bows and crossbows?
Yes, when used in the Doppler mode the arrow acts as the trigger when it enters the radar beam. This is generally 6-10 feet downrange. It will continue to track the arrow for approximately 60 yards. When in the Trigger Mode an adapter can be used on the bow to communicate with Lab-Radar. The adapter will trigger the radar in the release of the arrow. labradar for sale
At what distances will labradar chronograph report velocities
labradar chronograph in stock will report the muzzle velocity and up to five other velocities at the distances that you select in increments of one (1). You will be able to select these distances prior to shooting. You can select feet, yards, meters, etc. Velocities can also be reported in metric and standard values. labradar for sale
Does labradar chronograph work with shotguns
Currently labradar chronograph will obtain velocities from most Slug type projectiles. At this time it will not read multiple pellet projectiles. labradar for sale
Can labradar chronograph be sold outside of the U.S.
Yes, however due to foreign government regulations units sold outside of the United States, Canada and Australia and NZ will be set to the low power setting. The accuracy of labradar chronograph in stock remains the same, but the ability to track the projectile will be reduced by approximately 30%. Currently all units are being sold in the US and Canada. Export sales will begin sometime in 2016.
Will labradar chronograph pick up shot from other shooters?
labradar chronographh accuracy will not be affected by other shots being fired into your radar beam. Part of the technology built into the system allows it to determine if the shot came from very near the radar unit or if it came in from another location. Since the radar tracking is only active for a fraction of a second it is nearly impossible for you to receive a velocity from another shooter nearby. Your unit also has an adjustment in it to “turn off” most gunshots that are nearby, yet allow your shot to operate the unit. In rare cases your unit may trigger on another shooters muzzle blast. If this occurs you can easily delete that shot from your data.

Works extremely well right out of the box. Initially had a bit of a problem with the iPhone App. Went to YouTube for research and finally figured it out through trial at the gun range. Simply swipe the screen from left to right to gain access to the settings of the App. I especially liked the ability to arm the chrono from the iPhone App. The App retains the shot data for easy retrieval at home. The arming ability prevented disturbing the Labradar setup. I had some rechargeable AA batteries that are high capacity. The rechargeable AA’s are rated at 2000 ma and they have lasted through a three hour session at the range. So far I am extremely pleased with the Labradar and I would recommend it to anyone with a need or desire. This piece of equipment is expensive but well worth the price. I was told that You get what you pay for and this is true for the Labradar.

This is a phenomenal tool at a very reasonable cost. With the calibers I shoot, its roughly 100 meter range is more than adequate. Compared to a conventional chronograph which measures velocity at only one location, the LabRadar does continuous measurements from the time of bullet capture until; either maximum range or the bullet hits the ground (whichever is first).

I buy a lot of things that aren’t needed for shooting/hunting. This is not one of them. The Labradar is far superior to any other chronographs that I’ve used. I was a little hesitant because I read other reviews that this was difficult to use. I honestly think that has to be competitors writing a review like that. This was extremely simple to get started with, maybe 5 minutes to set up the first time because I was unsure. Now it takes less than a minute and I’m ready to shoot. It also provides (in my opinion) much more accurate and useful information. I’ve used in everything from bright sunny days to days where it was actually raining. Never had a shot not register, and it tracks down range very well, even thought the V style aiming system is pretty generic. I haven’t used AA batteries so I don’t know how it operates with those. However, using a cheap battery pack has allowed me multiple trips to the range without having to recharge it. This is a purchase you won’t regret and well worth the extra money over the cheaper options

This is a very helpful product. Gives you velocity at multiple ranges not just at the muzzle. Reliable in all weather conditions ( but wind ) and is not affected by different levels of light. Unit must be still to read and wind may cause movement if mounted on a tri-pod. All in all a very reliable unit. Very easy to operate.

Labradar is a great product for the center-fire reloader. RTFM before using or you might experience some frustration in tracking targets. Once you have a basic understanding of its operation and limitations you should have no issues. I’m happy with my purchase. I would be even happier if the software would be improved to allow shot-shell tracking.

This product works as advertised… The fit and finish is Great……. The fact that it works in almost every weather condition and lighting situation is awesome this product has the next level…. If you are serious about Reloading and long range shooting this product is for you…. The only criticism I have as that the battery Storage compartment hops off pretty easily… When a muzzle brake is being use on a Rifle… Also the menu is a little hard to navigate in the beginning… Be sure to watch tutorial when you buy this product….

Buy this radar first instead of the other unreliable, inconsistent screen chronographs. You’ll have consistent data, I get velocity from the LabRadar and go straight to hitting steel at 1000 yards.
J. A. Hartman –
I purchased this because I was using 2 different brand chronos and was getting wildly inconsistent readings. This thing is spot on every time regardless of conditions that I can tell. Way more accurate and consistent than a chronograph. Easy and simple to use. Worth every penny for the competitive shooter.

This unit is heads above my beta chrony. I also have a Magneto Speed. (Which is a great unit, except it changes barrel vibration when doing load developement work). Setup was very simple, it reads the shots very quickly and it is nice to see velocity at distances out to 100 yds. (larger caliber bullets). It is a little tempermental on windy days. It takes a little experimenting to get it to read when shooting a suppressed gun. Get an external battery pack and you can use for hours (mine has a 24000mAH capacity). I would recommend to friends

Worth a lot more than what the cost is. I very rarely took a chronograph w/ sky screens to the range because of setup time and the fact that they miss shots. And it’s just a matter of time until its hit by a bullet. The Labrador goes to the range w/ me every time because it’s quick and easy to setup. Absolutely no chance of shooting it since it’s out of harms way.

This will change how you reload. ES and SD info is so reliable. There is not another chrono out there in the same league.
Dave P. –
I bought this chronograph because I recently relocated to work to an area that doesn’t have any outdoor ranges nearby, and had to find a solution that was acceptable to the only indoor range around.

Setup and use are so much simpler and quicker than my conventional chronograph. Readings are reliable and easy to download with the SD card or via Bluetooth to my iPhone.
Marcin Galazka –
A superior piece of equipment, worked perfectly from the first time out to the range. It took a bit of experimenting to use the Labradar with my iPhone, but once I understood how to use the App, all was well. The Bluetooth iPhone App worked very well, I especially liked the feature that arms the Labradar from my iPhone.

I have used this chronograph for almost a year now, and I am selling my Chrony Beta w/printer, AND my Oehler 43 ballistic laboratory. No muss, no fuss setting up sky screens any more. I have the LabRadar tilting base, but at my range, I was able to drill a hole in the wood, and standing the unit up on a 1 1/2″ diameter piece of aluminum pipe, I have it at the right height and 6″ away from the muzzles on all my rifles. All one has to do is change the caliber and weight of the bullet, and start firing. I use an iPad so I don’t have to reach forward to the unit, I just comfortably tap on the tablet to arm/disarm and go through my shot strings. Can’t get much easier to operate.

I was worried when I saw some dumb reviews giving low stars. Now I realize they had to be hacks because this thing is great! Easy to set up and works, just works! I put in rechargeable batteries and brought out an external battery just in case. I had it on for 4 hours using the rechargeable AA’s and it still showed full battery status. My friends and family love this. So much easier than the old wire cage setups I used to have. I sold all my old ones, this is a keeper!
Nathan Mack –
I’m a USPSA Competitor. And I bought the Labradar to confirm PF on my 9mm PCC and Open guns. I saw a couple reviews where people said it “didn’t work with comped pistols” and that “it wasn’t accurate enough” Well I’m happy to say the trolls were wrong. And I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. It’s easy to setup and align, easy to navigate. And it displays the velocity of the last shot much faster than I was expecting, based on some of the YouTube videos I saw. It also works great in an indoor range. Had no issues at all picking up my shots, and ignoring everyone else’s. I recommend a good hard side foam case, like the HF Apache 4800, it was a perfect fit. Same price as the case from Labradar. But I can put the tripod and two spare batteries in it with nothing getting scratched.
